Hi There!
First of all, thank you for being here and reading my blog. 🙂 My name is Simone and I would describe myself as someone who’s very open-minded, constantly willing to learn, a matcha addict & huge animal lover (cats or sloths involved? consider me in!) Learning languages is something I love to do, so I always make a list of useful phrases that I need in a certain country. I actually really like making lists of basically anything!
How it all started
I could say it started when I went on my first backpacking trip to Thailand in 2018, which really sparked the love of travel in me. But when I think about it, I guess it all started way earlier without me even noticing it.
When I was not even able to walk yet, my parents took me on trips to Austria to go hiking (picture me in one of those carrier backpacks lol) Many other countries in Europe followed, Slovakia, Hungary, Italy & even biking all around Belgium. I don’t remember everything from those trips, but I do remember the ice creams being really cheap in Slovakia 🙂 At the age of 19 I really wondered about the way of life in countries outside of Europe and that’s when Thailand comes in. Many amazing countries followed and that’s where we are right now!
Photography
One of my favorite parts of photography is capturing wildlife. It challenges me and I love the exciting process not knowing what you may capture! This truly let my creativity flow.
Travel
Exploring unique places on a slow pace is something I adore. Learning about new cultures, trying the local cuisine and going on epic adventures with inspiring people is what excites me!
Sustainability
I have a high interest in doing better on this planet. For either the environment as the locals and the animals. Therefore I focus on slow travel, while immersing myself in a place
